ReplyDeleteLoved-LOVED the macaroon burgers!!! I just ate the relish with a spoon.I also added red onion to the relish. Thank you for the large servings!
ReplyDeleteTaco Pie: I don't know what happend but the cresent rolls did not cook at all on the bottom. I even cooked the meal longer than the directions said. Maybe I didn't have them completely thawed.

W also loves the burgers!! The kids wouldn't try the relish but Luis and I didn't mind...more for us! We have also been enjoying the taquito/burritos, there are so many that we have had them a couple of times.

We had the Jambalaya tonight. FABULOUS! Love the spice! Great with cornbread muffins. Ben said this was his favorite meal so far.
ReplyDeleteI can definitely echo Neva's comment about this group. Thank you so much for inviting me Jolean! It has completely changed the focus of the weekly grocery list and shopping chore. Now I just need to figure out side dishes. Yeah!

Had the baked Penne with Chicken and sun-dried tomatoes tonight. I took the meal out of the fridge at 8am it took until 3pm to thaw completly on the counter. (I know your not supposed to do that- but I have been thawing food like that for years)
ReplyDeleteThe house smelled so good as it was cooking. Cooking time seemed to be right on!
Deb said when she tried it that the meal tasted bland, I would have to agree. So I was looking at my spices trying to think what would work to "spice" it up. I picked Creole seasoning. OMG the meal tasted soooo good with that seasoning. If you have not had this meal yet I would suggest Creole Seasoning!
Loved the quanity- We will have left overs for lunch tomorrow.
