  1. We had Neva's barbacoa with homemade tortillas tonight, garnished with Ben's homemade guacamole--fantastic! A great summer meal for a busy day of baseball, and it is lasting two nights for us!

  2. We had the Juicy Lucy's, they are yummy! Careful with the cooking time though; they took longer than you would think. The meat was thicker than we thought so we had to toss them back on the grill.

  3. We also had the Juicy Lucys. I concur with Jen--yummy! I would also add a caution--that cheese is HOT! Bite with care!

  4. Ranch Chicken, sorry ranch apparently separates when frozen. I suggest adding Ranch to packets before cooking or after.

  5. We had the Argentinian-spiced steak with Chimmchurri sauce tonight. Fabulous as usual. Both Ben and I commented that we wanted more meat just so we could have more sauce--YUM! That is one thick piece of beef--we grilled 8 minutes per side but could have done another minute or two and still would have had rare meat.

  6. So I am going to comment on a couple at once...We had the Juicy Lucy's last night and they were delicious! I have one left over that I am excited to eat for lunch!
We also had the Argenitinian steak with Chimmchurri sauce which also was very good. I have a lot of sauce left over though cause the kids wouldn't touch it (they don't like any sauce for anything though, not even salad dressing) Maybe the sauce will be good with grilled chicken?
The Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches were also good. I have a tendency to over cook meat like that in the crock pot, so I had it on low for about 6 hours and it turned out perfect. I also put the sandwiches open in the oven on broil for a couple of minutes to melt the cheese.
